Back from Vacation

Table of Contents

Vacations are one of the best opportunities to make memories with the people you love. And with the help of a camera, you can capture those memories and enjoy them for years to come. The problem is these photos often end up sitting on our phones and cameras, which means they are often forgotten.

If you want to do something with your vacation photos this time around, here are some simple suggestions.

What to do with vacation images

Create and Share a Slideshow

If you have a few hours to spare, why not use a program like Animoto or iMovie and create a video slideshow that you can share with friends and family? You can even add title screens and captions to add more context to your video. Want to share it with more people? Add it to social media.

Print a Photobook

If you want to add a personalized photobook to your coffee table at home, there are a number of online platforms you can use. I highly suggest using mpix not only for this but for all your personal printing needs. Using easy drag-and-drop functionality, you can build a photobook that’s all your own. If you don’t have the time or know-how though, you can always get a professional photographer to assist you with the creation and printing of the album.

Forgo Frames Completely

If you want to display your photos around your home, there’s no need to go with traditional frames and prints. You can choose to print your photos on canvas or try something completely different like photo blocks, which add a fun touch to your home. There is now even the option to print photos on wood–it all depends on the style of your home.

Invest in a Digital Frame

If you are a fan of all things digital, you can always purchase a digital frame instead. This way, you can enjoy a wider selection of your favorite memories anywhere in your house. Plus, there are a lot more digital frame styles to choose from than there once were, making it easier to find something that matches your home’s décor. Personally, I’m still searching for a HUGE digital frame. I saw one at a friend’s house and it was like a piece of art. Sadly, they no longer sell that particular frame.

Now that you know what to do with your vacation photos (‘Back from Vacation’), make sure that you actually set some time aside to sort through and print or display your photos once you are back. If you need help or have questions about printing let me know I’m happy to help!
